Eraserhead (1977) world premiere held in New York City. All my efforts in writing this article series was in support of celebrating this milestone in David Lynch's career, hence the reason for my site's title: 35 Years of David Lynch. To celebrate this momentous occasion, each day leading up the anniversary I will release one still image from every film and TV episode directed by David Lynch throughout his career. I will also embed one of my favorite David Lynch interviews or documentaries along with each still.
Today's still is from the last feature film released by David Lynch to date, Inland Empire (2006). And above we present: The Independent Filmmaker: Room to Dream. Official Synopsis: David Lynch and the Independent Filmmaker features original interviews with acclaimed director David Lynch. See and hear how Lynch brings his unique vision to the screen with technologies that are now within easier reach for independent filmmakers. Interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage from a recent project, Lynch muses on the art of filmmaking, offers wisdom to aspiring filmmakers, and shows you the power of today's tools to give you Room to Dream.
Note: Any purchase made via our web store or product links scattered throughout the article will contribute a small portion to the running of this site. Thank you for your support.
